Besides John Carpenter, Wes Craven was also my source of inspiration back in 2015 when I was working on "The New Halloween" with my mate. The film consisted elements from both Craven & Carpenter.

I was saddened to hear of Wes Craven's passing the same year and so the film was dedicated in his memory.

​

His satirical take on the horror genre in the late 90s with "Scream" and his dark and surrealistic take on the slasher genre in the 80s with "A Nightmare on Elm St" made him one of horror's most iconic directors of our time.
